Retinol Alternative Serum – Step 3 in the Skincare Map

When to use it:

Evening only (PM) – retinol and retinol alternatives support skin renewal but should be used at night to avoid sun sensitivity.
Apply after toner and before night cream (Step 3 in the routine).
Best used 2–4 times per week to start, then increase frequency if your skin tolerates it well.

How to combine:

Works well with Hyaluronic Acid, Ceramides, and gentle moisturizers – these reduce potential irritation.
Can be alternated with AHA/Glycolic Acid on different nights (never at the same time).
Do not combine with strong exfoliating acids in the same routine.

Key tip:

Retinol is a powerhouse for anti-aging, fine lines, and uneven skin texture. For best results, use consistently at night and always follow with SPF in the morning.

✅ Can be mixed or layered with:

Hydrating Serum / Niacinamide Gel Moisturiser – soothes and supports tolerance.
Peptide Anti-Aging Serum – excellent synergy for collagen stimulation and firming (use peptides before oil serum).

⚠️ Use with care or alternate with:

AHA or Glycolic products – alternate nights to avoid over-exfoliation.
Pigment Perfecting Serum (Vit C / Kojic) – best used morning for Vit C, evening for Retinol Alt.

❌ Avoid mixing directly with:

Strong exfoliants or acid toners – may increase sensitivity.
